We are looking for an energetic and proactive Technical Manager to work closely with our Perfumery and Commercial teams. You will develop and execute global technical strategies and programs which will support and deliver the innovation pipeline through regional and global projects.
You will provide technical expertise to the global business and provide guidance to creative projects. Work on Fragrance application technologies, development of new and existing product development projects in line with the global innovation pipeline, incorporating fragrance technologies into the brand portfolio.
You will co-ordinate the stability and compatibility studies for raw materials and finished product to support the use and supply of raw materials.
Generate formulations following technical analysis for compounding and assessment, as well as maintaining a library of samples and formulations.
You will also train, develop and support the technical ability of others and increase their understanding of the interaction of product and fragrance.
You will support the QA team when compliant and/or technical queries are raised to provide root cause analysis of the interactions between the fragrance and base. Build strong relationships with networks and operating units to provide analytical expertise to the product development projects around the group.
You will have a technical science based degree together with specialist application knowledge of the personal care and / or household markets and analytical experience specifically within the fragrance industry.
