L’Oréal’s The Body Shop has announced that it is launching an e-commerce website for the UAE. The site is expected to be up and running by the end of next year.
The new platform is due, in part, to growth within the region which surpassed forecasted sales and outperformed the rest of the world. Speaking to Cosmetics Business about the online platform, the EMEA Body Shop team said: “The Body Shop is looking to build more visibility digitally by launching an e-commerce platform by 2017, creating a more holistic shopping experience for the UAE customer, both online and offline.”
