Niche French skin care brand Sultan de Saba has added a new product to its Voyage Japonais line: Gelee Demaquillante au Riz (Rice Make-Up Remover Gel, €19 for 100ml).
Designed for normal to oily skins, the product is free of perfumes, preservatives and parabens and has a mattifying, skin-clearing effect, says the firm.
The pale yellow gel comes in a jam-jar style pot with a metal lid. It is massaged in, at which point it becomes a water-soluble oil, and can then be rinsed off.
The products are available from retailers such as La Boutique PVC and Sultan de Saba’s spas.
