Wahl has unveiled the results of its 2015 Top 20 Most Facial Hair Friendly Cities study. The male grooming brand analysed the popularity of facial hair across the US. But which ones emerged as the most fuzz-friendly? The results were as follows:

1. Washington, DC
Up 18 spots from last year's study, Washington DC's rise to the top of facial hair may come as a bit of a surprise. Wahl said a motivating factor behind the jump could be put down to the city's pro baseball team who sported a flurry of facial hair last season. Going one step further, Wahl has sponsored its first ever beard this year – that of Washington starting pitcher Gio Gonzalez.
