Treatt announces 'satisfactory' six months 27-May-2010

Treatt Plc’s group revenue for the six months ended 31 March 2010 remained steady at £28m, while pre-tax profits grew 7% on the same period of 2009 to reach £1.49m. According to the group, the results reflected a poor first quarter and a much-improved second.

In the second quarter, Treatt USA's profits were double those of the prior year period. However, Treatt's Earthoil business was said to have performed below expectations.
