We use the Terralene special material that is a tailor-made family of polyethylene compounds based on renewable raw materials. All Terralene grades are based on sugar cane as a raw material thus making a valuable contribution to the conversation of fossil resources. Due to the material, it is possible to produce tubes which are designed for a long service life. Our sugarcane tube has a high barrier and outstanding chemical resistance. In addition to cosmetics, cleaning products can now be packaged.
Bio-plastics are plastic components which meet at least one of the following criteria:
1. Plastic produced 100% from renewable plant based resources
2. Biodegradable, meaning it can be decomposed to water and carbon dioxide by microorganisms
Our sugarcane tubes are the first of its kind, and meet both criteria from above.
