The cosmetics market in the Ukraine is expected to decline by 5%-10% this year, due to ongoing military conflict in the region and reduced purchasing power caused by the current economic decline in the country, according to analysts of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

According to Euromonitor, the Ukrainian cosmestics market reached UAH 21bn (US$2,625bn) in 2013, an large increase from 2012. Despite the current political instability, the country’s cosmetics market remains one of the largest and most promising in the post-Soviet space.
