Urban Decay has named Ruby Rose as its latest spokesperson. In a statement, the brand said that the Orange is the New Black actress had joined its team as its “Most Addictive New Vice”.
Founding Partner, Wende Zomnir, said: “The Urban Decay girl is not only the coolest girl in the room, but also the nicest. So when Ruby Rose hit the scene, we were immediately hooked.” Zomnir explained that Rose’s new job would involve “rocking our world and spreading the gospel of our self-expression, addiction to colour and beauty with an edge”.
Rose added: “Urban Decay believes in supporting individuality and personal self-expression – two values I hold very dear – because everyone deserves the freedom to explore their personality and discover their true selves.”
Australian Rose has previously starred in Netflix series Orange is the New Black and is also known for her work as a model, singer, DJ and LGBT rights activist.
