Walgreens has announced the launch of a dedicated beauty rewards system within its pre-existing Balance Rewards loyalty scheme.
The new Beauty Enthusiast club gives those who sign up 5,000 Balance Rewards points (equivalent to $5) for every $50 spent on beauty products including make-up, skin care, hair care and fragrance, as well as oral and bath products.
Linda Filler, President of Retail Products and Chief Merchandising and Marketing Officer for Walgreens, said: “This natural extension of our loyalty programme offers easy enrollment, more points and additional rewards to make feeling good easier.”
The additional rewards Filler refers to include free samples and exclusive promotions and coupons.
Consumers will also have access to special beauty offers and expert tips. New members to the club will also receive a one-off digital coupon for 20 times points on any purchase as a welcome offer.
