As members of Sedex (The Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) Hampshire says it is working with its suppliers to monitor the ethical performance of its supply chain. The company has started a series of audits which will see it asses the performance of its supply chain against its quality, environmental, ethical, development and purchasing requirements.
"We feel that these joint audits will be a valuable, knowledge sharing experience for both the supplier and ourselves," says Hampshire. "We are keen that any of our suppliers who are also members of Sedex link to us and allow us to view their self assessment questionnaires as part of this process."
