Main responsibilities include:

  • Manage all product legislation (Globally) - Checking the compliance of raw materials to building the Cosmetic Product Safety Report. Manage all certifications (Soil Association, COSMOS, Cruelty Free International, Vegan Society). Complete all submission forms and managing all ongoing liaison with these certifying bodies.
  • Perform all product stability tests and supervise microbiology test results.
  • Liaise with third party laboratories and research firms to conduct microbiological, consumer perception and clinical studies.
  • Respond to all technical queries from the Customer Service and Marketing teams.
  • Ensure packaging content is fully compliant across all international markets

In order to succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum BSc Degree in Chemistry or relevant scientific subject
  • 3- 5 years’ minimum work experience in cosmetic regulation.
  • Experience in certifications of organic & natural cosmetics.
  • Experience working on international claims substantiation and compliance.
  • Ingredient sourcing experience would be an advantage.
