Remploy enhances technical R&D team

Leading UK manufacturer Remploy Household & Toiletries has appointed Lisa Watson as its first microbiologist and Paul Everett as development chemist.

The appointments follow the decision by Remploy Household & Toiletries to bring R&D under one roof at its new £10.5m manufacturing and filling factory in St Helens, Merseyside. Watson joins from Body Care Toiletries, where she was senior microbiologist responsible for the day-to-day operation of the lab. At Remploy she will be one of a 10-strong technical team. Responsible for microbiology testing of raw materials, bulk liquids and finished products. Everett will be working on new product development and ensuring existing products are continually improved as technology continues to advance. He has worked previously with Premier Products and PZ Cussons.
