Burts Bees makes a beeline for the male skin care sector
16 December, 2008
After much anticipation, Burt’s Bees had spread its wings and finally delved into the male skin care market launching five new products for 2009.
The products, which are SLS free and not tested on animals, mark the first foray into this area for the Clorox-owned brand, who have long been pioneers in the field of women’s skin care and latterly baby care products.
The Natural Skincare for Men range comprises shave cream, aftershave, bar soap, body wash and cologne variants. The products have a warm and spicy scent with citrus tones, which combine with essential oils to leave skin feeling fresh the natural way, according to the company. The packaging is in sleek back, said to be suitable for any “male aficionado’s shelf”.
