The Business
Our client is a growing chemicals distributor. With a senior management team that offers a wealth of industry experience, one of the company’s key markets is the personal care sector. Now, due to impressive growth, the business is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to focus on developing existing as well as new business across the north of the UK.
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Director, this position will be home-based, with regular travel. Offering an impressive range of chemicals across the personal care and cosmetics sector, you will add value to your customers through a solution-driven sales approach, maximising your sales in the process.
This role will suit someone who wants to make a real difference to a business. As part of a small time, you will work autonomously in a highly visible position, where your successes will be highly visible. Perhaps you’ve worked in this way before and fancy a new challenge with a real up and coming business; perhaps you’re working for a global giant but you feel like just a face in the crowd…regardless of your circumstances, if you have the right experience, then we want to hear from you!
The Requirements
So what are we looking for? Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with a strong technical understanding of personal care raw materials, who has a demonstrable track record in sales in this market. Experience of working for a distributor would be advantageous, along with an existing network of customers. Candidates should be based anywhere from the Midlands up to the north of England for ease of access to customers.
