Cosmetic Chemist - Scotland - £40-60,000 (AE1788)

Are you passionate about all things beauty and skincare?

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established manufacturer for the global market that is seeking to diversify its product portfolio. This role is crucial in spearheading that initiative and will encompass a wide range of responsibilities.

This opportunity is perfect for a seasoned Cosmetic Chemist with multiple years of professional experience in managing projects from concept through to shelf. This role will involve the formulation of a variety of cosmetic products including liquids, creams, and gels.

Using your keen eye for detail and a desire to strive for excellence you will continually search for areas in which efficacy, quality and cost can be optimised. From reformulating existing products, to championing continuous improvement in technical knowledge, to ensuring products meet industrial professional standards, you will stay on the ball.

You will have excellent project management skills that will allow you to mentor and guide junior members of your team where required. You will have the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, and to work across multiple teams. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will help you while you liaise with Technical and Manufacturing teams, and work with raw material suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.

You will have extensive knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and solid experience of working within a lab environment. This opportunity will allow you to take ownership of original formulations and work cross- functionally to ensure their delivery to the highest standard.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you can really shine in a creative and dynamic team where we reward and recognise effort and achievements.

Is this the perfect match for you? If so, apply today.
