A fragrant companion for Acqua di Gio

Published: 23-Jul-2010

Giorgio Armani has created a female companion for its best selling men’s fragrance Acqua di Gio. Acqua di Gioia is said to take inspiration from both the sea and rainwater and conjures up images of lush, fertile islands.

The fragrance opens with fresh top notes of crushed mint and Calabrian lemon zest, while water jasmine creates an aquatic floral heart note. Finally LMR cedarwood heart, brown sugar and labdanum add depth at the base.

Following the aquatic theme of the fragrance, the transparent glass flacon features curved lines inspired by a drop of water and by the body of a woman.

The bottle is topped with an emerald cap.
