In November the brand is launching a five strong fragrance collection

In November, Aerin Lauder, grand daughter of Estée, will enter into the perfume market with a five strong fragrance collection. Named Gardenia Rattan, Amber Musk, Lilac Path, Ikat Jasmine, and Evening Rose, the scents are said to provide a perfume for every mood and time of year.

Created by perfumers at Firmenich, the scents will cost $110 for 50ml from selected stores such as Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Selfridges in the UK.

The collection takes inspiration from Lauder’s life. Lilac Path, for example, was inspired by a lilac bush in Estée Lauder’s garden, and has notes of galbanum, jasmine lactones, angelica seed oil and orange flower. In contrast, Ikat Jasmine features notes of jasmine sambac, honeysuckle and tuberose, while its packaging is based on the blue and white ikat of Aerin Lauder’s childhood bedroom.

The fragrances are all housed in floral packaging based on fabrics from Aerin Lauder’s line for Lee Jofa, and the bottle tops are designed to look like semi-precious stones. The advertising will feature Aerin Lauder, dressed by luxury Italian label Valentino.
