The South Korean beauty brand celebrated the opening in collaboration with Marie Claire magazine at an exclusive event

South Korean beauty company Amorepacific has opened its first-ever global up shop in New York City.

The shop, located on Bleecker Street, debuted by celebrating the release of French magazine Marie Claire’s May issue.

Influential guests attended the event and were invited to browse the beauty giant's product ranges including fragrance, skin care and colour cosmetics.

“We’re thrilled to open our pop-up here in New York City and give consumers the opportunity to experience the opportunity to experience our leading brands in one location,” said Jessica Hanson President of Amorepacific US.

“Marie Claire is the authority when it comes to global beauty - they are always on the pulse of the most innovative and efficacious products from around the world, so when we thought of a partner to launch our pop-up store with the spotlight on global beauty, they were a perfect fit.”

The pop-up will remain open until 25 May and will feature the company's top brands including Laneige, Annick Goutal, Sulwhasoo, Mamonde and Iope, and it marks the first time all of the brands will be available in the same space.

Nancy Berger, Marie Claire's VP and Chief Revenue Officer, said: “Through our Global Beauty platform, Marie Claire has been dedicated to discovering products, ingredients and technologies that help women feel more beautiful from around the world.

“As the leading global beauty company from South Korea, Amorepacific is the perfect partner for us to celebrate our annual May Global Beauty issues.”

She added: “Our May issue features the annual Prix d’Excellence de la Beauté awards, highlighting standout beauty products from around the world, for which the Amorepacific brand won for their Essential Creme Fluid.”

Amorepacific's portfolio includes over 20 brands and distributes its products in Asia, North America and Europe.
