Ari EDP reaches stores in September

Ariana Grande's debut fragrance has been officially announced. Created in partnership with LUXE Brands, Ari by Ariana Grande will reach stores in September this year and is expected to be a top seller.

Grande previewed pictures of the perfume and its packaging via social media in June. The singer's 39 million Instagram and 31 million Twitter followers have been eagerly awaiting the scent's launch ever since.

Ari will be the first celebrity fragrance created by LUXE Brands. Tony Bajaj, President and Chief Executive Officer at LUXE Brands, said: "We are thrilled to have partnered with such an influential and exciting artist like Ariana Grande. We confidently anticipate this will be one of the most successful launches in the company's history."

The fragrance will be launched by LUXE Brands and Designer Parfums concurrently across the US and other top international markets. Stockists will include Macys, Ulta, Bonton, Lord & Taylor and Stage and prices will start from $39 for 30ml EDP. Dilesh Mehta, Chief Executive Officer at Designer Parfums, said: "We are very excited to be a part of Ariana's debut fragrance and we know it will resonate with fans worldwide."

"I love fragrance, it is something I have been obsessed with all my life. As a fragrance debut of my very own, I really wanted it be personal, that's why I named it Ari. I love everything about it. It is so fun and true to me. The scent is sweet, yet sexy, with some surprises underneath," Grande said.

Inspired by Grande's personality, the scent opens with friuty top notes before moving into a heart of vanilla and a musky, marshmellow base. The feminine bottle design includes a removable plush pom pom. LUXE Brands has partnered with creative agency BBH to produce an accompanying advertising campaign.
