Avon announces plans to cut product line by 25% as major restructure continues

Troubled direct seller, Avon has announced further plans to streamline its business offer, following news it is to cut its global workforce by 10%.

It will now reduce its number of SKUS by 25% and inventory levels by 15% as part of steps to ‘Open Up’ the brand and simplify its operating structure, reduce product line complexity and reduce inventory holding levels.  

It announced the steps as part of its strategy to 'Open Up' Avon, which includes efforts to simplify its operating structure, reduce product line complexity and reduce inventory holding levels.
