BPI signs fragrance and cosmetics deal with Azzedine Alaïa

Beauté Prestige International (BPI) has signed a licence agreement with couturier Azzedine Alaïa for the creation, manufacture and distribution of fragrance and cosmetics for the brand. The deal includes the launch of the first perfume for Azzedine Alaïa.

“We are delighted and honoured that Mr Alaïa, one of the grand masters of French couture, has chosen to entrust BPI with the task of creating his first perfume,” commented BPI ceo Rémy Gomez. “What a magnificent challenge for BPI to translate the world of Alaïa, who has shone for 30 years in fashion, into perfume.”

The launch date for the brand’s inaugural perfume has not yet been publicised.
