Backing the bad boy

The latest incarnation of Jean Paul Gaultier’s Le Male fragrance has been created in homage to the bad boy. Le Male Terrible is described as an extreme version of the original, depicting a dark, brooding and handsome character.

Created by Givaudan’s Aurélien Guichard, Le Male Terrible is a woody fougere and mixes the freshness of grapefruit and pink pepper with lavender, then blends to a more sensual base of vetiver, vanilla and ambery musk. The iconic torso-shaped bottle remains but now features a razor blade adornment around the neck to emphasise the bad boy attitude of the scent.
