Premium spa, skin care and clothing brand Bamford has identified a gap in the market for its exclusive luxury beauty offering, following the acquisitions of rivals REN and Aromatherapy Associates.

The UK brand – still independently-owned by Lady Carole Bamford – believes it is in a strong position following the acquisition of REN by Unilever in March this year, and Aromatherapy Associates by specialised investment fund manager B&B Investment Partners in February 2014 (the fund is sponsored by Walgreens Boots Alliance).
