Are you an experienced Buyer or Category Manager with experience of working for a Retailer – bricks & mortar or Online? If so, my dynamic client could be looking for you! Managing their Beauty Brand portfolio, you’ll be responsible for relationships with existing partner brands as well as growing the Beauty offering to put this retailer on the map as a true Beauty consumer destination.
With a hugely ambitious growth agenda in the Beauty space, this role is a rich mix of External Brand Management and Purchasing. It’s a complex environment which demands resilience and agility and a hands-on approach, as well as leading a small team of Buyers & Merchandisers. No Prima Donnas need apply!
Broad product category experience is essential to really add value to the Beauty landscape and in particular SKINCARE is of interest. Focusing on Product, Sourcing and Brand Direction. Leading a trading culture across all levels of Buying, spotting opportunities, negotiating best prices and lead times with suppliers to achieve gross margin buying targets. Ensuring that the business’ buying power is fully leveraged. Negotiate Heads of Terms. Manage promotional activity and growth.
Initially a 9-12 month maternity contract there could be further opportunity beyond this for the right person.
