Beetz in line to join Douglas board

Nomination is subject to a board vote on 28 May

Former Coty CEO Bernd Beetz is in line to join Germany perfumery chain Douglas as a supervisory board member. Along with Ronald van der Vis, former CEO of the Esprit Group, Beetz’s nomination will be subject to a board wide vote at the company’s annual general meeting on 28 May, when the tenures of Claus-Matthias Böge and Mark Wössner will come to an end.

“We are very happy that Douglas is proposing Bernd Beetz and Ronald van der Vis, two exceptionally accomplished candidates for positions on the supervisory board. The online and face to face expertise they have demonstrated in national and international retail industries will be a great asset in supporting the Douglas Group’s future development,” said Jörn Kreke, founder and Chairman of the supervisory board.
