Luxury car manufacturer partnered with Firmenich

British luxury car manufacturer Bentley is set to release its first fragrance for men in collaboration with Lalique perfume marker Art & Fragrance SA. Bentley For Men is said to capture the experience of being in a Bentley by using notes of wood and leather, both of which feature prominently in the interior of the cars.

Composed by Nathalie Lorson of Firmenich, the EDT opens on black pepper, bay leaves and bergamot, moving into a heart of rum, cinnamon, clary sage and leather, and dry down of cedar, patchouli, musk and benzoin. Meanwhile, there’s also an EDP, named Bentley For Men Intense, which contains a perfume concentration of 15% for improved staying power. The fragrance is a stronger version of the EDT, containing “more leather, more spices and more patchouli” according to Lorson.

Launching in April, the EDT will be priced from €59 while the Intense EDT will be €87. They will be available from selected perfumeries and department stores, including Boots and Debenhams in the UK. There will also be a limited edition Bentley Crystal Edition EDP, housed in an exclusive bottle made by Lalique, priced at £3,000. Only 300 flacons will be released, available from selected Bentley stores.
