Innovation in new textures and formats has seen the number of launches jump to 80 over last year.
The sale of selective foundations in France increased by 4% between August 2017 and August 2018, according to a new survey by NPD.
It says the increase was boosted by innovations in texture and format.
The foundation segment represents an annual market of €110m, says the analyst and the year saw the releases of 80 new products compared with 39 the year before, while the range of tints increased by over 330 - nearly 100 more than the year before.. . .
