Clean Beauty Academy is an educational website targeted at consumers and industry, which aims to simplify scientific jargon relating to cosmetics ingredients
Skin care brand Biossance has launched The Clean Academy, an educational resource for consumers and industry regarding cosmetics ingredients.
The Clean Academy is being promoted by brand ambassador Jonathan Van Ness, who stars as the grooming expert on Netflix series Queer Eye.
In an introductory video, Van Ness says “clean beauty is a difficult place to navigate” and to “never apologise for having high standards”.
Catherine Gore, President of Biossance, said: “The Clean Academy is the modern expression of our leadership in the clean beauty space.
“We've put our focus on creating fact-based content that cuts through the jargon and addresses the biggest questions and concerns voiced by consumers in a rapidly growing – and increasingly complex – segment of the beauty industry.
“It's about helping them make better, cleaner choices for their best skin that still fit their lifestyle."
The Clean Academy website will be updated to address new developments in ingredients and clarify ingredients terminology.
It will feature interviews with experts and social content, as well as community-driven events.
