Bleu de Chanel and Gucci Guilty shine at UK Fifis

Fragrance Foundation awards its finest


Chanel’s Bleu de Chanel and Gucci’s Gucci Guilty were the stars of last night’s UK Fifi Awards, topping their evening with Best New Prestige Fragrance for Men and for Women respectively.

Bleu de Chanel also picked up Best New Male Fragrance Commercial and The Perfume Shop ‘People’s Choice’ Award for Men, while Gucci Guilty took The Perfume Shop ‘People’s Choice’ Award for Women.

The 2011 UK Fragrance Foundation Fifi Awards took place at Whitehall’s Banqueting House beneath its stunning Reubens’ ceiling. Attendees were entertained by host George Lamb as well as singer Sophie Ellis Bextor, who appeared on behalf of Look Good…Feel Better. Proceeds from the auction and raffle also went to Look Good…Feel Better as Fifi’s charity partner for the second year.

The awards took a greater retail and media tone this year with more awards sponsored by retailers and publications.
