The past year has seen some vibrant new brands join the fray, innovation from existing players has continued to flow, but in terms of sales, the UK body care category has hit a rough patch.

According to Kantar Worldpanel, overall market value fell by 7.1% to £346.22m in the year to 1 March 2015, while volume sales were flakier still, dropping by 9.9% to 21.40m litres.
