Consumer attention is turning to Christmas shopping as the nights draw in and the mercury begins to drop. And many of these shoppers will be buying beauty.
Mindful of this, retailer Boots UK has curated its top ten Christmas gifts for the 2018 festive season.
But the process of getting holiday gift sets on shelves takes a lot longer than many shoppers would think.
Mark Haynes, Senior Buying Manager – Seasonal at Boots UK, who leads the team that puts together the retailer’s Christmas gift range, said it took approximately 18 months to put the 1,400-product range for Christmas 2018 together, liaising closely with Boots' Senior Product Manager – Global Gifts, Debbie Burgin.
