Boots unveils enhanced make-up areas in over 2,000 UK stores

With new lighting, mirrors and a focus on cosmetics testers, the new beauty experience has been designed to meet today’s customers’ needs

Boots is rolling-out a new make-up experience in 2,249 stores across the UK.

The #FeelLikeNew beauty experience will involve 19 cosmetics brands, including long-time Boots partners L’Oréal, Rimmel, Max Factor, Sleek MakeUP and Bourjois.

The revamped areas are designed to give today’s consumer a heightened in-store shopping experience with the addition of more mirrors, better lighting and a wider range of testers.

Customers can also shop more product lines including three new additions: L’Oréal Age Perfect, Obsession and cult beauty brand CYO, which is launching exclusively with the retailer.

Joanna Rogers, Director of Trading, Beauty and Gifting at Boots, said: “We know that customers love trying out the latest new beauty looks and are already having a lot of fun exploring the new beauty layout and design.

“We’ve listened to our customer and our brand new self-selection cosmetics experience allows them to shop and enjoy our stores as a first-choice beauty destination.”

Boots started introducing the new units in January and has expanded the concept to remote areas of the UK, including Lerwick on the Shetland Islands.
