With the date of the UK’s withdrawal from the EU now delayed until 31 January 2020 and a general election due to be held on 12 December, the beauty industry has once again, along with the rest of the nation, found itself facing heightened levels of uncertainty.

For the first time in almost a century, the UK will hold a general election in December, just before Christmas – retail's busiest time of the year.
