The Man Wood Essence fragrance have been created by Alberto Morillas, combining citrus and wood accords
Italian perfume arm of fashion house Bulgari has introduced a new fragrance for men.
The Bulgari Man Wood Essence (from £59) cologne blends woody notes with citrus accent, designed to evoke scents of nature in an urban lifestyle.
Master Perfumer Alberto Morillas, who has also created fragrances for Calvin Klein and Cartier, was inspired by self-reconnection to create the scent.
He said: “Wood is marvellous, infusing this fragrance with very powerful energy.
“Hearing the name Bulgari Man Wood Essence inspired me to combine these intense woody notes from nature.”
The edp is said to be built like a tree with notes of citrus zests and essence of coriander; middle tones of cypress wood and Haitian vetiver essence; and base tones of cedar wood, ambergris accords and benzoin siam.
The fragrance is available now from Harrods, Liberty, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, John Lewis and Boots.
