Burberry releases new fragrance and campaign with British model Cara Delevingne

This is the third time the 26-year-old model has fronted a fragrance campaign for the brand

Burberry has announced the release of its new fragrance Her, fronted by British model and actress Cara Delevingne.

The 26-year-old model has worked for both the brand’s beauty and fashion ventures, closing its 2018 London Fashion Week runway show and starring in its My Burberry and Burberry Body fragrance campaigns.

For the new project Delevingne is photographed by Jurgen Teller in a series of candid images around London, UK; she has also recorded her own song dedicated to the capital city.

Meanwhile, the fragrance, curated by Francis Kurkdjian, opens with red and dark berries, before moving to heart tones of jasmine and violet, and a base of dry amber and musk.

Kurkdjian said: “Her Eau de Parfum by Burberry is unique because it is a memorable signature.

“To achieve that, you need a strong accord, an olfactive story that translates your vision.”

He continued: “The combination of these sunburst berries and British spirit blend with the ambery musky across brings this very unique signature.

“You can immediately recognise when someone is wearing it. It’s a signature scent.”

The fragrance is set to be released this month on burberry.com and via select brand boutiques.
