Robertet is a globally leading boutique fragrance, flavour and natural raw material house, known for its use of natural and precious ingredients and 3rd generation heritage.

After increasing sales by over 15% in the last two years they have exceeded all growth expectations and are now looking to expand their UK sales team further. As a result of this an opportunity has become available for an experienced UK Business Development Manager to join the facility and play an integral role in increasing their UK presence.

In order to continually grow and improve sales in the UK, Robertet have continued to invest in various resources, including investment in the latest marketing trends; all of which will be at the fingertips of the new business development manager.

The aim of this appointment is to increase UK sales through both known and new contacts. As new business development manager you will play an instrumental part in continuing to target and tailor customers’ requirements in all areas of the business, monitoring customers’ needs and buying patterns.

You will be responsible for:

  • Identifying new customers, through own contacts
  • Setting and maintaining realistic budgets
  • Setting appropriate and realistic prices and negotiating increases when necessary and at regular intervals
  • Maintaining communication with customer regarding recent projects and ensuring appropriate feedback to the company, (wins, losses, problems, etc)
  • Maintaining a sensitive awareness to fluctuations and trends in the market place and with the customer in order to propose speculative concepts, and to pre-empt problems

We are looking for somebody who is able to deliver excellent results, develop new business relationships and become a driving force in helping to shape Robertet’s UK business.

The successful candidate will have a previous experience in a sales focused position. Will have a thorough understanding of the UK consumer goods retail market with fragrance industry experience and knowledge being a true advantage.
