Company creates new premium fragrance

CPL Aromas has worked with Michelin starred chef Jason Atherton on a new fragrance for premium brand Boadicea the Victorious.

The company worked with FOUR Magazine to create the scent, called Vetiver Imperiale, combining gourmand notes. The product's ingredients include cardamom, pink pepper and rhubarb as well as citrus and woody notes, blending both cookery and perfumery ingredients.

The fragrance was created using the new CPL Aromas Aromafusion technology that allows perfumers to introduce captive ingredients into products, ensuring each new scent is truly original by using a combination of molecules unknown in the fragrance industry.

Christian Provenzano, Director of Perfumery of CPL Aromas, commented on the new fragrance: "Working on this project with Jason was really exciting as my great passion, asid from perfumery, is cooking. Indeed, if I had not followed perfumery as my chosen career, I would certainly liked to have become a chef." He added: "This collaboration shows just how closely linked the sense of smell and the sense of taste is as Jason and I were able to incorporate some of our favourite ingredients into the mix producing a genuinely innovative fragrance that can be appreciated by connoisseurs of gourmet food and premium fragrances alike."

The new Boadicea the Victorious fragrance is available in Harrods (RRP £245 for 100ml).
