With this new agreement, the full-service distributor further expands its existing portfolio for the UK Cosmetic and Personal Care markets.
Tagra is internationally renowned as a world leader in microencapsulation technology, having obtained over 14 patents.
Tagra’s team of PhD experts in microparticulate skin delivery systems has developed a cellulose based Release on Demand (RND) range of encapsulates opening up a new world of user experiences and unique ingredient stories.
The Tagra patented technology encourages dynamic development and marketing breakthroughs whilst providing stability, efficiency and controlled/immediate release for non-water soluble ingredients.
Cameleon
Tagra’s CameleonCaps bring controlled color release to any formula, playing a vital role to stable and successful formulas.
The CameleonCaps can be incorporated into any type of cosmetic preparation- creams (o/w, w/o), lotions, silicone-based formulations, water gels, lipsticks, and even pressed powders.
With a cellulose-based polymeric shell which is extracted from wood pulp, this microencapsulation technology can be used for ‘vegan’ and ‘derived-natural’ claims, per ISO 16128.
CameleonCaps have received international accolades, including In-Cosmetics Silver 2019, and award-winning formulations with international brands.
CelluCap R
CelluCap R is encapsulated pure Retinol, easily released upon mechanical pressure, such as a rubbing action. Clinical results have proven a 55.2% increase in skin firmness, and an 11.2% improvement in the appearance of lines and wrinkles, after four weeks.
The single layer polymeric shell collapses and breaks down into invisible particles, but still retains the payload to continue and deliver over time, for extended, gentle, and effective activity.
