CBD has been in the beauty industry spotlight recently, showcasing its talents as ‘the next best thing in skin care’. Most of us will know that the cannabis plant is used to make marijuana, a substance that is smoked, vaped and eaten recreationally to create a sense of ‘bliss’ among its users.

Quite a few of us will know that tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the compound which causes this psychoactivity. Some of us will know that cannabidiol (CBD) is another component found in cannabis, which is said to result in a therapeutic outcome.
