Career advice: How I became a General Manager at Benefit Cosmetics

Sarah Harbon is the General Manager for make-up brand Benefit Cosmetics UK & Ireland.

With a career spanning over 14 years at the LVMH-owned colour cosmetics specialist, Harbon joined the company in 2007 as a Regional Sales Manager and moved up the ranks to become General Manager in 2018.

Benefit Cosmetics is known for its fun branding and this energetic ethos is key to a fruitful career at the brand. "Lots of people are technically good at their job, but the real sweet spot is having someone who is competent with the same values as the brand," she tells Cosmetics Business.
