The company has created fragrance sampling solutions for beauty brands including Dior and Givenchy

Carestia Arcade Beauty is stepping up its production of small box and card samples, in a bid to meet increasing demand from brands for more eco-friendly beauty sampling solutions.

Aiming to increase its flexibility and keep up with competitors, the French packaging company is expanding its machinery used to create its mini cardboard packs, which it says now account for a growing proportion of its sales.

Marie-Hélène Marcelli, Director of Carestia, said: "This growth phenomenon is explained by a craze for a material with a low ecological impact, the success of small series, and of course, the technical and aesthetic quality that this type of manufacturing offers."

Providing technical and creative advice for its customers, the company offers a range of decoration options including a variety of printing and finishing techniques and colour developments.

Founded in 1882, Carestia was acquired by Arcade Marketing in 2013 and today offers a range of paper-based samples, including touches, notebooks and scented inserts for magazines.

Last year it teamed up with Givenchy to create scented stickers for the luxury brand's Live Irrésistible Bloom Crush fragrance.
