The new line of cosmetics will feature lipsticks, compacts, highlighters and mattifiers

Puig-owned fragrance brand Carolina Herrera has made its first foray into the colour cosmetics arena.

The new Carolina Herrera Makeup range features a 36-sku line of lipsticks in matte, satin and sheer finishes.

The hero shade is the brand’s Carolina Red, a tribute to the brand’s founder and its signature colour, alongside nudes, pinks and orange hues.

Also available in the line is a collection of highlighters, compacts and mattifiers.

Developed in collaboration with make-up artist Lauren Parsons, the eight new compacts are said to be lightweight on skin and suitable for all skin types.

The mattifier is designed to absorb excess oil, to take away any unwanted shine and leave skin looking matte and fresh.

Meanwhile, the buildable cream-to-powder texture of the new highlighter is said to contain innovative esters for a silky texture that spreads evenly on the skin.

Finally, the brand has designed a range of make-up brushes, featuring soft, natural bristles, including a lip and powder brush.

Each product in the collection can also be customised with a selection of printed cases, tassels and charms.

The products are available exclusively at Harrods and the cosmetics line retails from £25.
