The skin care brand focuses on the story of Fay Fuller: the first woman to reach the summit of Mount Rainier
Cetaphil, the brand designed especially for sensitive skin, is celebrating its 70th anniversary today.
The Galderma Laboratories-owned brand will mark the milestone with two main promotional initiatives.
A 70-hour flash sale is being held across different retail locations and consumers can download a $7 coupon directly from coupons.com that will be valid on two or more Cetaphil products.
Meanwhile video content has also been released showcasing ‘inspirational firsts’ in celebration of the many 'firsts’ the brand has achieved over the years.
Miles Harrison, President and General Manager at Galderma North America, said: “We are incredibly humbled and proud to be celebrating 70 years of skincare solutions for the entire family. Throughout the years, Cetaphil has made an effort to work hand-in-hand with medical experts to develop new, scientifically-tested solutions for our customers with varying skin types and concerns.”
The video features the story of Fay Fuller, an American journalist, mountaineer and schoolteacher, who was the first woman to reach the summit of Mount Rainier.
Cetaphil’s first product was its Cleansing Lotion, known today as Gentle Skin Cleanser, and continues to be one of its best sellers.
This year, the brand added seven new facial skin care products to its offering.
