UK spa brand Champneys is partnering with cruise line Marella Cruises from May 2018

Champneys has partnered with the UK’s third largest cruise line company Marella Cruises to bring its spa services onboard.

The partnership is the first of its kind for Champneys and Marella, and will see customers on board the Marella Explorer given access to a newly-installed spa and treatments from May 2018.

Stephen Purdew, Champneys co-owner, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Marella Cruises from next year, offering the very best Champneys spa experience onboard Marella Explorer.

“We’re confident that our state-of- the-art spa will bring even more enjoyment to guests’ holidays and can’t wait to hear about their experiences.”

The Marella Explorer will be based in Palma, Majorca, from May next year, and is the biggest ship in Marella Cruises’ fleet.

Customers will be able to book in for treatments from the classic Champneys menu including facials, wraps, massages, manicures, acupuncture and more.

The spa will also feature a wellness centre, salon and relaxation room, as well as beds with panoramic views.

Distribution and Cruise Director at TUI UK & Ireland, parent company of Marella Cruises, Helen Caron, said: “We’re proud to be known for the friendliest service at sea and Champneys’ world-class service really mirrors this.”
