Chanel and Armani scoop top awards at Italy’s Accademia del Profumo

Awards held on first day of Cosmoprof Bologna


The 24th edition of the Accademia del Profumo, dubbed Italy’s ‘fragrance Oscars’ and the equivalent of the French FiFi Awards, saw Chanel and Giorgio Armani walk away with top prizes.

Swedish model and television presenter Filipa Lagerback presented the awards, which were held in the Auditorium Manzoni on Via De Monari, Bologna on March 8. The ceremony coincided with the first day of Cosmoprof Bologna and International Women’s Day.

Chanel’s Coco Noir won Best Female Perfume, while Giorgio Armani’s Acqua di Giò Essenza took away the award for Best Male Perfume. Other winners included:
