Cosmetics house joins competitors in the craze to become the best beauty advent calendar in the business
This is the first time the luxury beauty brand has entered the advent calendar market
Luxury French beauty house Chanel has joined the cosmetics advent calendar craze for the first time in 2021.
Its debut 27-strong product offering pays homage to Gabrielle Chanel’s iconic Nº5 fragrance, with skus housed in a giant white and black Nº5 bottle.
Numbers start from day 5 – another nod to the founder’s fragrance, which hit shelves 100 years ago this year – and contains some of the brand’s most coveted beauty products, from Chanel’s Longwear Nail Colour to a Nº5 Bath Soap and Body Cream.
Moving on from its beauty offering, Chanel has included a selection of jewellery pieces for its first-ever festive advent calendar.
A bracelet bearing the number 5, a decorative key ring and snow globe, as well as some stationary pieces: a 3D sticker and bookmark, are also available for owners of the new Christmas calendar.
Nº5 The Calendar retails for £610.
Chanel joins a host of beauty brands tapping into the advent calendar craze.
Every year, some of the biggest names in the industry release their best and brightest products for their advent calendars.
ESPA, Jo Loves, Jo Malone London, Avon and L’Occitane are just a few of the names in beauty tapping into the demand for beauty calendars.
Meanwhile, beauty retailers, Feelunique, Lookfantastic and Selfridges are among the biggest players that are also jumping on the advent calendar sleigh for the festive period.
