Luxury philanthropic beauty company Chantecaille is bringing a new vibe to its bricks-and-mortar counters with a new retail concept at Bergdorf Goodman.

The space is designed to mirror the brand’s natural ethos, from its animal icons backlit on the counter - representing land, water and air - to the botanical ingredients displayed on its surfaces.

“Our vision was a warm wood backdrop that would ground us and take everything back to nature, showcasing all aspects of Chantecaille in a striking and luxurious suite,” said founder and beauty mogul Sylvie Chantecaille.

“That is what Chantecaille is really about. I am so happy we could bring this vision and message to Bergdorf Goodman,” she added.

The brand has been stocked with the luxury retailer for more than 20 years.

At the centrepiece of the shop is a bespoke table made from Amazonite marble.

Chantecaille added: “I wanted the centre to create a focal point to show products in an inviting setting.

“We designed a centre table made of vivid marble that I fell in love with, because it contains the colours of the ocean and leaves. It corresponds to all that we love in nature.”

At the space it is offering make-up and skin care consultations, as well as private brand facials.

“I’m so thrilled with how the installation turned out,” added Alex Chantecaille, the brand’s VP of Sales and Promotions.

“We wanted to create a space that felt residential that you’d want to spend in [and] to discover new collections, be it fragrance or a new lipstick range.”

Today, the brand has four ranges which contribute to philanthropic causes.

Its limited edition Lip Veil products fund the Elephant Family initiative to protect Asian elephants, while its classic Lip Veil range helps African elephants through Space For Giants.

Meanwhile, its Lip Cristal Lipstick range contributes to The Attenborough Foundation, which plants trees across Kenya to help tackle global warming while the brand’s classic Cheek Collection funds projects for turtles, horses, elephants, butterflies, bees and coral reefs across the globe.
