The Oscar-winning actress has fronted the luxury brand's flagship fragrance for 14 years

Christian Dior has released a new campaign for its latest fragrance, J'adore Absolu, starring award-winning actress and long time brand ambassador Charlize Theron.

The Mad Max: Fury Road star has been the face of the luxury brand's J'adore fragrance for the last 14 years.

In its latest film, created by director Romain Gavras, she bathes in a golden Turkish bath before emerging in a dress by Italian designer Maria Grazia Chiuri to the soundtrack of Kanye West's Flashing Lights.

Theron is said to embody the J'adore woman, presenting a powerful, independent image.

Released in October, J'adore Absolu is said to be an ode to femininity, built around the floral and fruity notes of Grasse jasmine.

According to Dior perfumer François Demachy, the scent aims to “express the beauty of the multiple facets” of the flower, which is accented with notes of honey, orange blossom and rose.

It is the latest flanker for the LVMH-owned brand's flagship fragrance, following reinterpretations such as J'adore L'Or, J'adore Gold and J'adore In Joy.
