ChemSpec to distribute Algues & Mer in the US

seaweed extract actives for the cosmetic and nutraceutical industries to be distirbuted on US cosmetic market

French specialty chemical distributor Safic-Alcan has announced that member company ChemSpec will distribute Algues & Mer seaweed extract on the US cosmetic market.

Algues & Mer is based in France and supplies seaweed extract actives for the cosmetic and nutraceutical industries. In April, Algues & Mer launched Invincity, a cosmetic active that is said to combat ‘polluageing’ – ageing caused by pollution.

According to Safic-Alcan, the new partnership will be a great opportunity for ChemSpec and Algues & Mer to offer US cosmetic manufacturers the perfect active to follow the trends for anti-pollution and seaweed-based ingredients.
