Chemlink offer free MIT re-formulation resource

Published: 4-Jul-2018

Chemlink Specialities Ltd., a UK-based chemical distributor, have just released a free Methylisothiazolinone (MIT) removal and reformulation guide for all brands who are looking to remove MIT completely from their formulations.

Chemlink Specialities, boasting over 80 years specialist technical experience in the chemical industry, offer much more than chemical distribution. With a lab on-site and a dedicated technical team they are also well-known for their reformulation product sourcing capabilities. They are particularly recognised for their exceptional experience in preservation.

MIT and CMIT/MIT have seen increasingly negative press over the last few years, and while the negative press is focussed on levels of MIT that are now prohibited, bad press is still bad press. Formulators are being increasingly asked to formulate without MIT.

This week, their technical team launched their first ever free eBook, the subject being MIT removal. The team have put together an extensive document about MIT, MIT removal and MIT reformulation, including a helpful list of chemicals that can help you reformulate your product without MIT and maintain efficacy.

The eBook is on offer now, just head over to the Chemlink Specialities website and follow the links. And if you'd like to speak to the team about your MIT-related product challenges, they're offering a free no-obligation consultation between now and the end of July, so be sure to call and book in your appointment soon.

This eBook will be the first of many for the team at Chemlink, so watch this space.
